What it is
How do you track details like warranties and passports, medical information, insurance account codes, mobile phone contract details...? Where do you keep all your logins and passwords (or hints to passwords)? What do you do if you need these details in an emergency?
We created a secure area to hold this important information which staff at MyEasyDiary and its service providers, have no access to. We've locked ourselves out through encryption (see our security). The safe is designed for all those emergency and everyday things that we want to remember and have quick access to anywhere stored in a convenient way that gets backed up and is more secure than simply emailing them to ourselves, writing it all on a page in a diary, or using sticky notes put on our computer screen!
What it is not
We risk our information wherever it is - in our homes, through the post etc. We want to be clear that online security is just another area of risk and we can never claim your set up is guaranteed 100% secure from attacks. Our encryption rules out a number of attacks and if you implement your safe security tips you reduce the risk further. Choose what details you want in, from everything to simple hints!
